New Hall Farm is an 800 acre working farm that offers a unique learning environment for visitors of all ages and abilities. The farm has been in the same family since 1953 and the farmers Helen and David Rhodes have been organising successful school and community visits for a number of years.
Please note, visits are by appointment only.
With the help of grants from Natural England and The Country Houses Foundation we have been able to restore our 16th century cruck barn, making it available as a base for educational access visits. The barn now houses a classroom facility in addition to the main barn activity and exhibition space. The attached outbuildings provide the essential toilet and hand washing facilities.
We are able to offer fully funded educational access visits to 25 groups that meet criteria set out by Natural England (largely relating to minimum numbers and duration of visit). For more details please ‘events page’.
